Had lunch here with a potential business partner. They had club membership so I was included. Buffet was tasty, servers remembered them and their preferences, which seemed like a nice touch. Views are spectacular. You forget you’re in rural North Carolina for a few minutes. Parking was outrageous, $25 for two hours in a parking garage that is very tight.

After being a member for two decades, I have seen the club transform into its current state which continues to be sophisticated and inviting with a modern appeal. One constant is Carrie who offers a smile upon every visit to the Charlotte City Club. She has always gone above and beyond in ensuring an extraordinary club experience. The Charlotte City Club is blessed to have Carrie on their team! As my aunt says, always eat dessert first and the club has amazing pastries. See pic attached. The Charlotte City Club just went through a complete renovation of its main floor. The new look is gorgeous, its open, bright, and very modern. The staff is great, they are very personable and remember small details about our family each time we visit. Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the view, easily one of the best in Charlotte!

Very lovely wedding venue - I went to a wedding here and left a positive review. HOWEVER I have to update this review because I contacted several people at City Club for wedding pricing by phone and email and no one returned my messages. That is completely unacceptable- if they were booked on the date I requested, all they had to do was send an email stating that and asking if I had an alternate date in mind while sending their pricing packet. I would never want to have a wedding someplace where communication with customers is not the highest priority so brides, consider this venue at your own risk.

Well I may be a little biased as I used to work here. And it's a great place to work for! Staff is very friendly and amazing. Gorgeous on the inside! Beautiful place to have a wedding or host any event. Food is outstanding! And the head chef has been there for over 25years. It's a hidden gem! The views are absolutely amazing, as the club sits on the 31st and 32nd floors of 121 west trade st. You can see the ballpark, Bank of America stadium, and amazing sunsets over the mountains in the distance. I highly recommend the city club. But pls note it is a members only club, but anyone can become a member if they apply!

My husband and I along with another Club Corp member couple were on a "golf cation" in the Charlotte area. We decided to have dinner at the City Club of Charlotte. Starting with adult beverages, I had to send the martini back twice, as I ordered gin and they sent vodka, the second time it was so heavy with vermouth that I could not drink it. My husband ordered the rack of lamb, medium and I ordered the grilled grouper. Neither were cooked. His lamb was so rare, it was quivering and my grouper was raw on one end. We were not able to send back as the server, disappeared. We did complain to the maitre'd who did little to accommodate. There was no offer to prepare the meals as ordered. Of course by this time our dinner partners had finished their meal. It was the worst experience that we have ever encountered at a Club Corp property. On the positive side, the club is beautiful and offers wonderful views of the city.

I have visited City Clubs across the country and this is one of the best in the network. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. I enjoy entertaining clients here because I never feel rushed to finish the meal or conversation and the views throughout the venue are spectacular.
